Naples Family Accomodatiom for Christmas

I'm looking for a minimum 3 bedroom 2 bath house/condo over Christmas but not sure what area is good for walking, restaurants & shopping

Naples is a fantastic choice for a family Christmas stay, with plenty of options for walking, dining, and shopping. Since you’re looking for a 3-bedroom, 2-bath property, there are several areas that are particularly convenient for families who want to be near the action yet still have a relaxing environment.

Best Areas for Walking, Restaurants, and Shopping:

  • Old Naples / Third Street South: This is the heart of Naples for walking and dining. You’ll find boutique shops, art galleries, and many restaurants within walking distance. The area has beautiful sidewalks and is very pedestrian-friendly, making it ideal for families.
  • Fifth Avenue South: Right next to Third Street, this area also has a vibrant dining and shopping scene. There are parks nearby and it’s easy to access the beach from here, which is great if you want to combine sightseeing with some sand and sun.
  • Vanderbilt Beach / North Naples: While a bit further from the main downtown area, this neighborhood offers condos and houses near the beach with walking paths and nearby casual dining options. It’s quieter than Old Naples but still has shopping centers within a short drive.
  • Naples Bay / Tin City: This waterfront area has a mix of restaurants and small shops along the marina. It’s great for families who enjoy scenic walks and easy access to boat tours or fishing excursions.

Tips for Finding a 3-Bedroom, 2-Bath Property:

  • Consider vacation rental platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, or local Naples property management companies. Filter for minimum 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, and look for properties labeled “walkable” or “near downtown” for easy access to shops and restaurants.
  • Check if the property has a pool or is within walking distance to a beach. During Christmas, many families enjoy holiday lights, so a centrally located property can make it easier to see decorations and local events.
  • Book early, especially for the Christmas season. Naples is popular during the holidays, and family-sized homes tend to go quickly.

Additional Considerations:

  • Parking: Some downtown areas have limited parking, so check if the property includes a garage or reserved parking spot.
  • Accessibility: If you have older family members or strollers, look for properties with minimal stairs or ground-level access.
  • Proximity to grocery stores: Even if you plan to dine out, having a nearby grocery store for snacks or breakfasts can be convenient.

Overall, Old Naples / Third Street South is the most walkable area with excellent dining and shopping options, while North Naples or Vanderbilt Beach offer quieter alternatives with easy beach access. Planning ahead and prioritizing walkability and family-friendly amenities will help ensure a stress-free and enjoyable Christmas stay in Naples.
