I want to give a first hand report on Via Pizza at Whalers Village in Kaanapali. Yesterday we went and ordered a whole sausage and mushroom pie as well as a pepperoni pie. At first, the pricing seems high since each pizza is $44 plus $7 dollars to add meat and $5 dollars to add veggies. However, the size of a pizza is XL. Each pizzza is the equivalent of eight NYC slices so its actually a fairly good deal for the amount of pizza you get. I also ordered one slice of their Roman pizza to find out how it tasted. It had a lighter fluffier crust, but you could tell that the ingredients just like the NYC pizza were fresh. Via does validate parking for the first two hours if you ask to have your parking ticket stamped. The pizza is either sold by the slice or as a whole pizza pie. Getting the whole pie is a much better value. A whole pie will feed four hungry adults easily. Or, at least it did in our case. It’s great to have a place here on Maui where you can get a tasty slice of NYC pizza.
