Edgewater vs Marker 8

We have stayed at Edgewater and enjoyed it but the prices keep creeping up ( for what it is), looking at Marker 8, We stay for our trip on the way down to snowbird in early Jan, and really like being over the bridge. While the evening host is nice at ehdgewater the morning person is "challenging" as evidenced by my phone call just this morning about Jan stay. I know the view of the city from edgewater is spectacular but wondering if anyone has stayed at Marker? We like the walk over the bridge, but are also looking at St Augustine Beach House.

We stay two weeks in Laudeerdale by the Sea and then move to St Augustine Beach for about a month.
