I am planning on visiting Orlando in September and will be arriving at Terminal C where there is now a Toll Pass machine installed on level 4.
My question is, as I am renting my car from on off-airport site, is it possible to obtain my pass at the airport, then add the car's registration number etc later when I pick up the car?
Thanks for any response.
William.
Great question! If you're renting a car from an off-airport site but plan to pick up your toll pass at Orlando International Airport (MCO), here's what you need to know:
In Orlando, the toll pass system is typically handled through the SunPass system, which is the primary electronic tolling system for Florida. Since you mentioned you're arriving at Terminal C and there's a Toll Pass machine installed on Level 4, you can certainly pick up a SunPass at the airport, but the process works a little differently from what you're asking about.
Here’s what you should do:
It’s important to note that if you're using a toll pass from the rental company, they might charge an additional fee, so it’s good to check the rental agreement for details on whether using your own SunPass will save you money.
In summary:
Hope that clears things up for you, and have a great trip to Orlando!
