When you arrive at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport (ATL) on your Delta flight and need to catch a connecting international flight, you're correct that you'll need to take the Plane Train to Terminal F. However, there’s no need to pick up and recheck your checked bag if your connection is on Delta and both flights are under the same booking. Your checked bag will be automatically transferred to your international flight, so you can bypass baggage claim.

In summary, you do not need to pick up or recheck your checked bag during your layover, and you should be able to make your connection if everything is on time. Since your layover is on the shorter side, stay alert and move quickly through the terminal to ensure a smooth transfer.
