5 or 6 bedroom Orlando options

I am looking for a place to stay that has 5 or 6 bedrooms and is close to the Orange County Convention Center. There would not be any children in our party, but several young adults in their early 20s. I am open to a VRBO or AirBNB but I’m also interested in resort style accommodations that have nice pools, a lazy river, etc. Can I get some suggestions?

If you are looking for a large group accommodation near the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando, there are several options ranging from VRBO or Airbnb vacation homes to resort-style properties with pools and water amenities. Since your party consists of young adults in their early 20s, you might prefer properties that offer social spaces, pools, and entertainment areas rather than kid-focused features.

Here are some options to consider:

  • Vacation Homes (VRBO/Airbnb): There are spacious 5–6 bedroom homes in the Orlando area, particularly in neighborhoods like Lake Nona, Avalon Park, and near the convention center. Many of these homes feature private pools, game rooms, home theaters, and modern kitchens. They allow for privacy while still having communal areas for socializing.
  • Resort-Style Communities: Look into gated communities or resorts like Reunion Resort or Margaritaville Resort Orlando. These offer large rental homes or villas with access to shared amenities like lazy rivers, resort-style pools, fitness centers, and sometimes private beaches or water parks. Reunion Resort, in particular, is popular for large groups and offers homes with 5–6 bedrooms, full kitchens, and entertainment areas.
  • Luxury Condo Rentals: Certain high-rise condos in downtown Orlando or near Lake Nona may offer multiple bedrooms and access to shared resort-style pools, hot tubs, and fitness centers. These may be more modern and central but check for unit size as 5–6 bedroom condos are rarer.

Additional tips:

  • Search VRBO/Airbnb filters specifically for 5–6 bedrooms and “entire home” to ensure privacy and space for your group.
  • Consider proximity to restaurants, nightlife, or entertainment if your group is interested in going out, since your party consists of young adults.
  • Confirm resort or community rules regarding young adult groups, as some gated resorts may have age restrictions or policies regarding parties.
  • Book well in advance, especially if you are visiting during peak convention periods or holiday weekends, as large homes fill up quickly.

In summary, your best options for a 5–6 bedroom stay near the OCCC are either large vacation homes in residential neighborhoods or resort-style villas in communities like Reunion Resort. These offer a combination of convenience, privacy, and amenities suited for young adult groups, with private or shared pools, entertainment spaces, and easy access to downtown Orlando and surrounding attractions.
