West Gate Timeshare Tours

I know there are TWO locations for West Gate timeshare tours. One is in Kissimmee and the other is in Orlando. My question is about the free breakfast before the timeshare tour. Is that at both locations or just one? Also, back in the day, it was a really big and nice breakfast buffet. I can't remember which location though. I was wondering if that is still the case and is that still available at one or both or none? F.Y.I. I'm not talking about cereal with milk and pastries. I'm talking about a breakfast buffet with grits, eggs, milk, french toast, biscuits, etc.

Good question — there’s a lot of confusion (and misinformation) around the “free breakfast” that comes with the Westgate timeshare tour in Orlando / Kissimmee. Short answer: the breakfast you remember (hot, full buffet) is almost certainly no longer offered the way it used to be, and current promo-tour breakfasts appear to be much more modest and might differ by location.

Here’s what I found in my research + what recent tour-goers are saying:

  • Westgate’s Own Timeshare Preview Offer: - According to Westgate’s timeshare-tour promotional info, their resort preview *does* include a “breakfast” as part of the package. - Their website describes it as a “delicious, hot breakfast” before a ~2-hour golf-cart tour and then the presentation.
  • What People Who’ve Actually Done the Tour Say: - On TripAdvisor, a recent commenter who did the presentation at the Westgate “off Turkey Lake” location (Orlando) reported that the breakfast was just packaged pastries and cereal, not the hot, substantial buffet they expected. - Another review (Figured-It-Out blog) said their breakfast bar had “cereal, packaged muffins, danishes, eggs, sausage, and roasted potatoes,” calling it “disappointing.” - On Reddit, users similarly describe that the “VIP” or preview-tour breakfast is far from a grand southern-style buffet; instead, more basic fare is common.
  • Kissimmee / Town Center Location: - There are old TripAdvisor photos showing a “free breakfast in the 90 minute presentation” at Westgate Town Center, Kissimmee, but those photos don’t clearly show a full hot buffet—more like a modest spread. - According to historical timeshare-users-forum posts, the “free breakfast” was smaller than what some remember — especially compared to what used to be offered decades ago.

What This Means for You:

  • It’s very likely that neither the Kissimmee nor the Orlando Westgate timeshare-tour location is offering a big, hot Southern buffet (eg grits, biscuits, French toast, etc.) as part of the tour now — based on recent guest reports.
  • The “delicious hot breakfast” line on Westgate’s own marketing may be somewhat aspirational or depend on exactly which preview-center location you’re going to.
  • If having a hearty hot breakfast is important to you, it’s a good idea to ask when you sign up for the tour:
    • Which tour center (Orlando vs Kissimmee) will you go to?
    • What specifically is being served for breakfast now?
    • Can they send you a current menu or a photo of the breakfast spread?
  • Be prepared for the possibility that the “free breakfast” is more Jr-buffet / continental-style rather than a full Southern breakfast buffet.

Bottom Line: Yes, there *is* a breakfast included in Westgate’s timeshare-tour offer — but based on very recent first-hand reports, it’s not the hot, grand breakfast buffet you remembered. It’s more likely to be a simple spread with pastries, cereal, and some hot items, depending on location. If you’re concerned, ask explicitly when booking your tour.
