Trying to replace a Sesame Street Hat from SeaWorld Orlando

I know this is bit of a long shot. We visited Seaworld Orlando in January (flew in from out of state) to take our daughter who is 2 to see Sesame Street Land. We had a great day and we got her a pink/coral hat that had a blue sesame street logo on the front that she wears everywhere.

Yesterday we lost that hat at a park and being that it’s only sold inside Seaworld, I’m not able to find a way to replace it online (I’ve found other colors on ebay but not the pink one). I’m sure other toddler parents can see why, while it doesn’t seem like a big deal, it is in the world of a 2 year old.

I wanted to check if anyone here might be visiting soon and could purchase the pink/coral toddler (or youth size) of this hat if they still sell it. I’d obviously pay for shipping and cost of the hat & fees via PP G&S.

Thanks for reading.

Replacing a specific Sesame Street hat from SeaWorld Orlando can be tricky since many of their merchandise items are exclusive to the park and not sold online. However, there are several ways you might be able to get a replacement for your daughter’s beloved pink/coral hat with the blue Sesame Street logo.

First, contacting SeaWorld Orlando directly is a good starting point. Their merchandise team can sometimes check stock or suggest alternatives:

  • Call SeaWorld Orlando Guest Services and explain the situation. Mention the exact color and logo details. Sometimes they can check if the hat is still available in their inventory or advise when it might be restocked.
  • Email SeaWorld’s merchandise or guest services department with clear photos of the hat if possible, to help them identify the item quickly.

Another option is to reach out to online resale or fan communities:

  • Post on platforms like Facebook Marketplace, Reddit, or dedicated SeaWorld fan groups asking if anyone is visiting soon and could pick up the hat for you.
  • Check eBay or Etsy frequently. Sometimes sellers list older merchandise sporadically, and new listings can appear at any time. Setting up an alert for the exact color and logo may help.

If all else fails, you might consider a custom approach:

  • Some Etsy shops or small businesses specialize in recreating custom hats for kids. You could potentially have a similar pink/coral hat made and have a Sesame Street-themed patch added to match the original as closely as possible.
  • Another creative idea is to reach out to local SeaWorld employees or frequent visitors via social media. They may be able to pick up the hat in person and ship it to you, which is essentially a personal fulfillment approach.

While it’s a challenge since it’s a park-exclusive item, persistence with both SeaWorld’s guest services and fan communities often pays off. Parents who understand the “must-have” factor for toddlers are usually happy to help.
