Each large flower is composed of numerous smaller flowers, and a single tree can boast thousands of blossoms, earning it the nickname "Thousand-Flower Rhododendron." The blossoms, in a variety of colors, range from bright red to pink to pale red, creating a dazzling "sea of flowers." Yunjin Rhododendron yunjinensis is a standout among the more than 1,600 azalea species. Growing on thousand-meter-high mountains shrouded in perpetual clouds and mist, it can be found in numerous locations across Zhejiang, but only in Huading is a spectacular forest of Yunjin Rhododendron yunjinensis, a rare sight in terms of both its abundance and the beauty of its flowers.
