Luhuitou got its name from a beautiful and moving legend. Based on the beautiful legend, a giant stone statue 12 meters high and 9 meters long was sculpted on the mountain. Haikou Meilan Airport has a train station, so there's no need to go to Haikou Railway Station. When buying a train ticket to Sanya, simply purchase the "Meilan-Sanya" section.
There are more than ten bus routes in Sanya City, several of which are special tourist lines. The operating hours are basically from 6 am to around 11 pm, and the fares are charged in sections.
There are also many private minibuses, and many hotels offer free sightseeing buses to the city and tourist attractions, which is very convenient. Operating hours are 6:00 AM to 7:40 PM, and the fare is 2 to 4 yuan. Please be sure to prepare small change, as electronic payments are not supported.
Sanya has two important train stations: Sanya Railway Station and Yalong Bay Railway Station, conveniently connecting passengers to their destinations.
