In previous years, the rape flowers in Wuyuan would not reach their peak bloom until early March. This year, they will enter their best viewing period at the end of February and last until early April. In other words, you can go to Wuyuan this weekend!
Friends who have never been to Wuyuan often think that Wuyuan is a large scenic area. In fact, it is a county under the jurisdiction of Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. Wuyuan has many scenic spots that are scattered in the east, west and north directions of Ziyang Town, the center of the county.
The east line is a traditional classic tourist route with a concentration of ancient buildings. It is also the place with the most beautiful and dense rapeseed flowers. The main attractions include: Likeng, Yueliangwan, Wangkou, Jiangwan, Xiaoqi, Jiangling, Huangling, and Qingyuan.
The northern route combines ancient villages with natural beauty. The main attractions include: Likeng, Wolong Valley, Lingyan Cave, Rainbow Bridge, Hong Village, and Sixi Yan Village.
The west line was developed the latest and is the least popular. Its main attractions include Yantian, Yuanyang Lake, and Changxi. Friends who like quietness can choose here, but there are fewer attractions on this line, so it is recommended to incorporate it into the north line for a visit.

Jiangling is located in the northeast corner of Wuyuan and is the most representative place to see rape flowers in Wuyuan.
Rapeseed flowers are planted in terraced fields all over the mountains, stretching from the valley to the top of the mountain. Standing on the top of the mountain and looking down, the rapeseed flowers under your feet are stacked layer upon layer, stretching as far as the eye can see, full of vitality, and blowing in your face. There are several small villages surrounded in the middle, and the Hui-style houses with black tiles and white walls are interspersed in the golden area, like a natural painting.
There are four viewing platforms in Jiangling. You can reach the first viewing platform not far from the entrance of the scenic area. It is also from this position that you can see the white-walled and black-tiled buildings in the sea of flowers. At this moment, you will know why this place is called "the most beautiful village in China."
If you can only go to one place in Wuyuan, you must not miss Huangling. Huangling is the birthplace of the "autumn drying" culture. At first, it was just an agricultural custom that local farmers would dry the harvested grains in the sun for storage in autumn. Now it has become a culture.
Even in spring, you can see the "drying of crops" in Huangling. On the roof of the attic with white walls and black tiles, winnowing baskets and bamboo sieves covered with red and yellow crops are truly spectacular.
The rapeseed fields in Huangling are also a unique sight. As soon as March arrives, the rapeseed flowers here will be in full bloom. The terraced rapeseed fields, set against the backdrop of the Hui-style buildings in the ancient village, are magnificent and touching.
In addition, Huangling also offers a high-altitude flower viewing experience. Standing on the 300-meter-high plank road and the 1,260-meter-long cable car, you can unlock a new perspective and overlook the entire sea of rapeseed flowers.
Qingyuan is an ancient village with a history of more than 1,300 years. It is located on the top of thousands of mountains with deep canyons, blocking the outside world and overflowing the inside. The ancestors of the local villagers chose this place as a place to escape from the world, and it is known as the "Little Peach Blossom Land".
The rape flowers in Qingyuan are not as famous as those in Jiangling, but they are not as crowded with tourists as in Jiangling.
The whole village is surrounded by vast rapeseed fields. Inside the ancient pavilion "A Different World" at the entrance of the village, there is still an ancient quatrain: "The empty mountains are hidden in the mist and clouds, the water is blocked by boats and the land is closed by cars, even though the Central Plains is in chaos due to war, my home is in the depths of Peach Blossom Land."
This place can truly be called an ancient village, with many quaint historical buildings, and time has left mottled marks on the white walls.
The villagers live a simple and quaint life. An old lady washes clothes by the stream, children play in the fields, and the sounds of farming can be heard from time to time in the countryside.
Crescent Bay is located on the riverside road of Tuokou Village on the northern line of Wuyuan. There is a crescent-shaped peninsula in the clear and winding river. On the riverside is a 200-acre rapeseed field, which is also the largest sea of flowers on the northern line of Wuyuan.
Unlike the magnificent terraced fields in Jiangling, the terrain here is relatively flat. There is also a small bench bridge here. Across the bridge is a quiet tea garden with dozens of peach trees. Whether you are shooting rape flowers and ancient villages across the bench bridge from the tea garden, or taking aerial photos, the photos are all very good.
Fengshan Longtian Pagoda is located in Fengshan Village, Zheyuan Township in the north. It was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. Iron wind chimes are hung on the eaves of each floor. Whenever the wind blows, the chimes ring sweetly. The antique pagoda stands in the golden sea of rapeseed flowers, like a dignified girl. It is a classic check-in point on the northern line of Wuyuan. You can also climb the tower and look out over the magnificent sea of rapeseed flowers.
Zhang Village is the filming location of "Ode to Joy". It is also the place where Mr. Bao and Andy relax in the play. Coming here, one can't help but sigh at Mr. Bao's romance.
Zhang Village is backed by mountains and faces water. There is a large rapeseed field at the entrance of the village. The mountain village is integrated with the natural landscape, with black, white, yellow and green alternating, giving people a simple and elegant beauty.
Walking to the back of the village, you will see the longest wooden bridge in Wuyuan built on the quiet river. It is really difficult to appreciate its beauty without going deep into it.
Chapingtan Village is a small village hidden in the mountains with beautiful scenery. It is about 500 meters above sea level, and there is a cliff canyon next to the rapeseed terraces.
This place is not well-known to tourists, but it is very famous in the photography circle.
In addition to the fields of rapeseed flowers, there are several thousand-year-old trees in the village. The pear blossoms, magnolias and peach blossoms in front of and behind the houses bloom one after another every spring. It is truly "ten miles of flat land and thirty miles of gardens."
