Meet and sign in at the designated location of China-TravelNote.

Departing at 07:15, we had a lot of fun on board with interactive activities and itinerary introductions!

11:00

Arriving at an ancient village next to Dongqian Lake, we warmed up and took a short break before starting our hike.

After a section of bluestone road, we came to the forest fire prevention trail, which is about 800m long and has a 60° victory slope. We walked forward step by step. The conventional route is not our China-TravelNote style!

After climbing two steep slopes and passing the tea plantations covering the mountains, we were pleasantly surprised. The lake is surrounded by mountains on all sides. Phoenix Lake is like a crystal stone embedded in the green. We had lunch by the lake.

After walking along the mountain road for a while, we walked along the path to [Wutai Sunrise Viewing], where we can see the urban scenery of Ningbo and [Xiangshan Port Bridge]

Afterwards, we walked through a gravel road pricked by pine needles, then walked a short distance on the highway to recharge our batteries. We then sang songs on a wooden plank road amidst tea fields, walked along a dirt road shaded by ancient trees, crossed a clear stream, and passed an unknown blue reservoir. The wildness was endless! We plan to return at 3:30 PM.

1.Why didn’t I receive a text message notification after registering?

2. What if it rains during the event?

2-3 days before the event, we will decide whether the event will proceed as scheduled based on the weather forecast and route conditions. Please pay attention to our notifications. Most activities can proceed as usual even if there is light rain. There is still fun to be had on rainy days. If heavy rain is forecast, the event will be cancelled and a full refund will be given to everyone.

3. Is this route crowded?

Most of our routes are natural and niche, with relatively small traffic. Of course, it also depends on the registration situation for each period. Generally, ordinary models are 37-seat buses, and a few large models are 53-seat. Each car has a certain proportion of tour leaders to ensure the quality of the event.

The Dasongling Ancient Road was built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It was an important passage for the residents of Dasong and Xianxiang to head north to the outside world, including Ningbo, Hangzhou and Shanghai. With the completion of the highway, it was gradually forgotten. Today, only the section from Yangshanao Village to the foot of Dasongling remains. The ancient road is paved with pebbles, with steps and ravines made of stone blocks. When it meets a stream, it is connected by a stone arch bridge, which is relatively solid.
