The eighth section of the Hong Kong Trail, named "Dragon's Back" by Time Magazine (Asia) as one of Asia's best urban hiking trails, is located on the southern side of Hong Kong Island. It connects Dalanchengding Mountain with the Dian Peak of Yunzhen Mountain. The trail gets its name from the undulating, staggered terrain that, from a distance, resembles the back of a giant dragon about to soar into the sky.
