【Qiantang River Tide Watching】

We will go to Shengdi Park, wait for the Qiantang River tide, and visit the ancient town of Yanguan with a long history and culture.

The spectacular Qiantang River tides are caused not only by the gravitational pull of the moon and sun, but also by the trumpet-shaped shape of the Qiantang River's estuary. When a large amount of water surges in from the Qiantang River's estuary, the river's surface shrinks rapidly, preventing the tide from rising evenly. Consequently, the waves behind push against the waves in front, which can't move quickly enough, allowing the waves behind to catch up, creating a layer upon layer of water.

Due to different tide times on different dates, the order of visiting attractions and lunch time are subject to arrangement.

Notes: 1. Because the tide-watching period is very short each year, tourists from all over the country will go to Haining to watch the tide, which may cause crowds and traffic congestion. Please understand.
