Day 3 Jingdezhen → Sculpture Porcelain Factory (Lotte Mart) → Jialu Oil-Paper Umbrella → Wunu Island (Live Performance + Tang Dynasty Night View + Iron Flower Crafting + Fireworks Show)

·morning

--Sculpture Porcelain Factory and Lotte Mart--

Jingdezhen is serious and persistent in running a market. The reason why Jingdezhen is so popular can be summed up in one word: market.

After breakfast, we came to the Sculpture Porcelain Factory, which is a great place to take photos and visit.

Let's explore the Rakuten Market, held only on Saturday mornings. Over 100 artists, including those who have moved to Beijing, students, and local artists, gather here. This isn't just a simple market; most of the artwork is original and unique. When one person has creativity, another appreciates it. The meaning you impart, I can also read it—that's what makes a good match. Of course, there are different levels of creativity, so strolling through a creative market, unlike other commodity markets, is a truly fascinating experience.

·afternoon

--Jialu Oil-Paper Umbrella-- (Around the Spring Festival, if the umbrella factory is closed, we will go to Wunuzhou in advance to experience the rich flavor of the intangible cultural heritage)

After bidding farewell to Jingdezhen, we set off for Wuyuan.

First, we visited a historic factory building to experience the beauty of the intangible cultural heritage, the Jialu Oil-Paper Umbrella. Oil-paper umbrellas have a history of over 1,000 years, and the Wuyuan Jialu Umbrella Factory is renowned for its timeless craftsmanship, earning it the reputation of "the best in the world."

Here, you can not only visit and learn the umbrella-making process, but also take great photos in minutes.

--Moon Bay where fishermen sing in the evening--

Then we came to Moon Bay, which is nestled between mountains and water. The Hui-style homestays and rural scenery on both sides of the bay are reflected in the water, as beautiful as a painting.

We sat on the bamboo raft and cruised in it, feeling the fishermen singing in the evening, as if we were swimming in a painting.

·night

--Night Tour of the Prosperous Wunu Island--

In the evening, head to Wunuzhou Resort to embark on an unforgettable journey back to the Tang Dynasty.

Wunu Island is centered around the legend of the flying goddess. During the day, it is a Jiangnan water town where visitors can climb to the top of the Jade Tower and overlook the entire Wunu Island. At night, it transforms into the "Palace in the Sky" described by Su Shi, as if traveling back to the prosperous Tang Dynasty!

Watch a large-scale outdoor live performance "Meet Wuyuan", the unmissable water curtain show, the intangible cultural heritage of water iron flower making, and the gorgeous fireworks show.

Under the cover of night, the hanging golden pavilion, the parade of dragon lanterns, and the fireworks create a lively atmosphere.

Check in to the hotel and rest in due time.

Note: Lotte Market is open every Saturday, so the itinerary for Friday gathering has been slightly adjusted to: [Lotte Market] on the second morning and [Ancient Kiln] on the third morning. The rest remains unchanged.

4th Tianhuangling → Wuyuan High-speed Railway Station

·morning

--Autumn sun drying at the top of the stream on Huangling Mountain--

After breakfast, we will go to the ancient village of Sun-drying Autumn (Huangling). Huangling is a masterpiece of humanities, and Sun-drying Autumn is a symbol of folk customs.

Entering the ancient village by sightseeing cable car, you'll find ancient Hui-style dwellings scattered across a valley with a hundred-meter drop. Every home features windows for natural light, and racks for drying produce. Villagers use the windows as canvases, the racks as brushes, and the drying boards as palettes. In spring, they dry bamboo shoots and bracken; in autumn, they dry red peppers and corn. This creates a masterpiece of folk customs, a continuous and orderly display year-round.

In spring, the terraced rapeseed fields of Huangling are covered in golden yellow, layer upon layer, stretching as far as the eye can see. In autumn, red persimmons, ginkgo trees, and red maples compete to change colors.

Walking along Tianjie, you will see Anhui-style shops lining both sides of the alleys, with shops in front and workshops in the back. You can see the intangible cultural heritage skills: Anhui three carvings, Jialu umbrellas, Anhui embroidery, southern Anhui wooden oil pressing, and rice wine brewing...

Walking along Huaxi Water Street, you will be surrounded by flowers, with small bridges, flowing water and houses...

The [Retro Party] at the ancient stage, the [Intangible Cultural Heritage Lantern Show] at the ancestral hall square, and the popular [Paper Lantern Dancing Crane] are all amazing. The lively [Banlong Lantern Garden Parade] and [Traditional Huizhou Wedding Customs Show] allow people to experience the full folk atmosphere.

·afternoon

After lunch, take the cable car down the mountain and start the return journey.

Disbandment in Wuyuan: Expected arrival at Wuyuan High-Speed Railway Station around 15:00 (it is recommended to book a train after 16:00)

[Ceramics] English: china. The Chinese invented pottery as early as approximately 8000-2000 BC (the Neolithic Age). Vessels made from clay are called pottery, while vessels made from porcelain clay are called porcelain. Ceramics is a general term for pottery, stoneware, and porcelain. Any object made from clays of different properties, such as clay and porcelain clay, through a process of mixing, forming, drying, and firing, is considered ceramic.

Jingdezhen, known as the "Porcelain Capital," boasts beautiful shapes, diverse varieties, rich decorations, and unique styles. Its porcelain is renowned for being "white as jade, bright as a mirror, thin as paper, and resonant like a chime." Its blue and white porcelain, exquisite porcelain, famille rose porcelain, and colored glaze porcelain are collectively known as Jingdezhen's four famous traditional porcelains.

The Lotte Pottery Creative Market takes place every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Porcelain Garden of the Sculpture Porcelain Factory. Over 100 young local and local artists gather to sell their newly created ceramics. The Creative Market is a great place for young potters to gather and exchange ideas. Every week, you'll discover a wide variety of new works, including traditional and contemporary pieces, sculptures, jewelry, and more.

Located in the Shi'er Mountains, Huangling Scenic Area covers 15 square kilometers and features scenic cableway tours, village tastings, and fascinating explorations of local customs and folklore. Huangling is a typical mountain village, with dwellings arranged in a fan-shaped, terraced pattern around a water source. Famous for its "tasting" (drying autumn leaves) activities, the village's "Heavenly Street" resembles a jade belt, connecting classic ancient buildings. It's lined with Anhui-style shops, with shops in front and workshops in the back, creating a moving, abbreviated version of "Along the River During the Qingming Festival."
