Depart from the city early in the morning
Visit the filming locations of Zhang Yimou's film "Curse of the Golden Flower" and Michael Bay's "Transformers 4," as well as the National AAAAA-level scenic area, the core area of the "Wuling Karst" World Natural Heritage Site, a National Geographic Park, a World Natural Heritage Site, and the "Three Natural Bridges," the world's largest natural bridge group and the world's second-largest tiankeng group (minimum 2 hours of visit).

Lunch at the right time
Next, visit the Longshuixia Fissure. Located in Xiannvshan Town, Wulong District, the Longshuixia Fissure is a 4-kilometer-long cascade of springs and waterfalls, steep cliffs, and rugged rocks. The 80-meter waterfall is truly breathtaking. Old trees and vines entwine through the fissure, while springs and waterfalls cascade down steep, deep cliffs, rugged rocks, and a swift stream flow through the creek. (The tour should last at least 1.5 hours.)

Day 2 Pengshui County → Tiankeng Difeng → Chongqing

After breakfast, depart from the hotel and take a small vehicle to Chiyou Jiuli City, a traditional Miao architectural complex, to commemorate the heroes revered by the Miao people for generations. Next, travel to Gongtan Ancient Town, where the Apeng and Wujiang Rivers meet in Youyang, for a boat tour to experience the charm of the Wujiang River. Gongtan, originally named Gongtan, was a town where many residents were surnamed Gong. Due to the construction of a water conservancy project, the original town was demolished and restored. Stroll through the town at night, immersing in its unique charm and exploring the traces of its transformation over time.
