The Last Eden, Medog | 25km Hike to Baimagang, Boyu

Day 1 Various locations → → Pick up at Nyingchi → Bomi ★ Assembly day

Today is an all-day gathering day. Each team member will arrive in Nyingchi according to their own means of transportation. After being picked up at the Nyingchi airport at 12 noon, they will all go to the Bomi Hotel to check in.

After checking in, tourists are advised to rest and acclimate to the plateau to prepare for the rest of the trip. Tourists in good physical condition can go for a walk in the city, but they should slow down their activities in the plateau.

The tour leader will hold a pre-trip meeting in the evening to explain the itinerary, hiking route, precautions, and check equipment. Please do not miss it.


Border Pass Application → This trip requires a border pass. Please fill in "tourism" for the reason of entry to Tibet and "Medog" for the region.

Bring your ID card and a 1-inch photo, and go to the police station/administrative center where your household registration is located (or have a relative handle it on your behalf) to handle the matter!

Day 2 Bomi → Galong La → Galong Temple → Medog Museum → Medog

Today's itinerary

We set off after breakfast

Go to Garong Temple, the birthplace of Zhang Qiling in "The Lost Tomb of the Sea"

We took an adaptive hike around Garong Monastery to experience Tibetan Buddhist culture.

Check out the filming locations of "The Lost Tomb of the Sea": the prayer flag array in front of the temple, the prayer wheel corridor, and the snow-capped mountain viewing platform on the side

Then pass through the Galungla Tunnel and enter the final road - Zamo Highway

Experience my country's most complete mountain vertical climate zone

Then enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way, including snow-capped mountains, waterfalls, rainforests, and the Yarlung Zangbo River.

Arrive at the Medog Museum and learn about Medog's clothing, rattan bridges, language, stone pots, stilt houses, porters on the Medog Road, cultural specialties, and geographical overview.

Day 3 Medog → Guoguotang Big Bend → Jiefang Bridge → Bhutan Pine King → Green Village → Lotus Viewing Platform

Today's itinerary

After breakfast, we followed Anne Baby's "Lotus" to explore the secrets of the lotus

Go to [Guoguotang Big Bend] - Earth's Emerald Vortex

The 360-degree horseshoe-shaped bend of the Yarlung Zangbo River is truly breathtaking! It's like a god dropping emeralds into the chessboard of Medog's mountains, and the roar of the river is accompanied by its own reverberation.

Then go to Green Village to find the King of Pine Trees in Bhutan

Hiking in the "paradise" hidden deep in the canyon

Standing under the King of Pine Trees, feel the breath and power of nature

Check in at the best viewing point on the southeast slope of Mount Namjagbarwa and face the sacred mountain from a different perspective

Day 4 Green Village → Buqun Lake → Medog

Day 5 Medog → Bomi → Alpine Pasture → Lulang Town

Cross the Galungla Tunnel again and head to Lulang [Alpine Pasture]

Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and endless clouds rolling in the mountains, this fairyland hidden in Nyingchi, Tibet, is like a natural oil painting.

Day 6 Lulang → Nyingchi Airport Transfer

All day

Today's itinerary is relatively relaxed. We will set off at 7 o'clock and enjoy the scenery along the G318 National Highway. We will first go to Linzhi Milin Airport Station (arrive at the airport at about 10:00, it is recommended to choose a flight after 11:30) to drop you off, and then go to Linzhi Station (arrive at Linzhi Station at about 11:00, it is recommended to choose a train after 12:00) to drop you off, and the trip will end.
