Here, you'll discover the unique character of this city! The Anqing Museum is also home to the Chinese Huangmei Opera Museum, a cultural venue dedicated to the performance of opera!

After the tour, we set out to find some delicious food. We arrived at Daobaoshi Pedestrian Street. There are many delicious restaurants nearby. We ate at our own leisure.

Daobaoshi Pedestrian Street is
the commercial center of Anqing Old Town, where bluestone pavements coexist with Ming and Qing style buildings.
Qiao Tower
is the remains of an ancient city tower from the Ming Dynasty. It is a brick and wood structure and was once the gate of Anqing Prefecture. It is now a historical landmark.
Shi Taishi Di (former residence of Zhao Puchu) is
an official residence of the Qing Dynasty. It has a four-courtyard layout and showcases the life of Zhao Puchu and the characteristics of Anqing's ancient architecture.
Chen Duxiu's former residence is
built in the style of a late Qing Dynasty residential building. It was Chen Duxiu's residence during his youth and displays historical materials about his life and the New Culture Movement.
The Catholic Church (Cathedral of the Holy Saviour)
is a century-old Gothic church with twin spires, which is a testimony to the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures in modern Anqing.
The former site of Quanyechang
was the Anqing Shopping Mall during the Republic of China period. It is a building that combines Chinese and Western styles. The red brick arched windows have been preserved to this day and it is now a commercial and cultural space.
Tips: Most attractions are concentrated in Anqing Old Town and can be reached on foot or by bike.

After the City Walk tour, we'll gather and drive to Yingjiang Temple (entrance fee included).
This ancient temple, nestled on the Yangtze River, is renowned for its vibrant culture. Its Zhenfeng Pagoda is a landmark of Anqing.
Zhenfeng Tower (tickets are at your own expense, and those afraid of heights should not climb)
is a famous tower along the Yangtze River. It was built in the Ming Dynasty. It has seven floors and an octagonal shape. It is known as the "First Tower of the Yangtze River". Climb the tower to enjoy the river view.
