Omagari Lakeside Park is a flower garden that uses the former farmland of Abashiri Prison.
About 1.7 million sunflowers are planted here, and you can see beautiful sunflowers and cosmos every September during the flowering season.🌻

The sunflower field was much larger than I expected, and the density of the sunflowers was amazing, so I was really impressed!!

I went there early on a weekday morning, so there were not many people, and I was able to take my time looking at the sunflowers👍️

I didn't have time to see the cosmos, but they were in full bloom🌸
