🛄｜Experience at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

One of the must-visit places in Abu Dhabi is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Visiting the mosque during the day was overwhelming from the start, as the pure white marble gleamed under the sunlight, showcasing its majestic presence. From afar, the massive domes and four minarets towering into the sky made me think, "This looks more like a palace than a mosque."

The plaza in front of the mosque reflected the sunlight off its white marble like a mirror, creating an even more vivid scene against the blue sky. The domes and pillars mirrored on the ground resembled a watercolor painting, making it impossible to stop clicking the camera shutter. 👍

Stepping inside revealed an entirely different world. Beneath my feet lay the world's largest handmade carpet, while above, dazzling crystal chandeliers dominated the space. The white walls and ceilings were intricately adorned with floral patterns and arabesque designs, offering new details with every step.

A particularly memorable moment was when sunlight filtered through the stained glass, bathing the interior in color. Unlike the cold, pure white exterior, the interior was warm and mystical, enhanced by light and color. At that moment, I realized this was not just a building but a grand space of worship that embodies faith and art together. 🫠
