Issyk-Kul lake Cuise

My friend and I decided to take a cruise on Issyk-Kul Lake coming from Karakol city. We did not buy tickets ahead of time even though it is usually recommended, but when we showed up at the pier there were still spots available. We spoke directly to the captain and paid 500 KGS per person. The ride lasted for two hours.

Interestingly, there was a wedding celebration happening on the first floor of the same boat, which added to the atmosphere. After the cruise, my friend and I went out for Japanese food and enjoyed delicious sushi, rolls, and iced tea.

If you plan to go on a cruise, I recommend bringing water, snacks, and a bit of extra money because prices are not always fixed and can sometimes be higher than expected. Normally the price is about 400 KGS for a one-hour ride, so we were lucky to get two hours for 500 KGS.
