There are two buildings from the Edo period remaining within Ako Castle, one of which is the Nagayamon Gate at the Site of Kondo Genpachi's House. This is the remaining part of the Nagayamon Gate. It is a valuable relic designated as a tangible cultural property by Ako City, but it is open to the public free of charge, so please check it out when you visit Ako.
