🕐️DAY 1: Check into Kashgar, Gmei Hotel
Morning: Fly from Xi'an to Kashgar Airport
Afternoon: Process your border pass at the airport at noon; it's a must-have for traveling in Southern Xinjiang.
Evening: Experience Southern Xinjiang culture in Kashgar Old City, and check out Grandpa's Grandpa's Naan.
🕐️DAY 2: Depart for Baisha Lake
Morning: After eating Xinjiang roasted buns in the morning, depart.
Afternoon: Arrive at Baisha Lake, check in and take photos. The scenery on the south and north banks is completely different, so it's recommended to visit both. Then, pass by Mount Muztagh Ata and Karakul Lake; both are great for checking in and taking photos. For Karakul Lake, you can sneak in without buying a ticket to save a lot of money!
Evening: Stay in Tashkurgan County. There are many hotels with excellent facilities, and the hotels are great.
🕐️DAY 3: Depart for Khunjerab Pass, passing through Panlong Ancient Road
Morning: Check in at the border pass. Remember to bring at least one oxygen tank per person; buy them in advance, they're about 40 each up there.
Afternoon: Pass through Panlong Ancient Road. It's a dizzying drive with at least 600 turns, so if your driving skills aren't great, don't go. In the afternoon, continue past Bandeer Blue Lake, a sparkling blue sapphire.
Evening: Eat hand-grabbed mutton. The mutton is so tough it's hard to chew, not suitable for people from inland China.
💗Other tips: Remember to bring an umbrella, sunscreen, and a windbreaker jacket.
