Wat Thammarat is another very

Wat Thammarat is another very old temple in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. It was originally called Wat Mukharat and is located next to the ancient palace and Wat Phra Si Sanphet. Wat Thammarat is where the head of Phra Thammarat, the largest bronze Buddha head in Thailand, was discovered. It is currently kept at the Chao Sam Phraya National Museum. Another interesting thing about this temple is the round pagoda surrounded by lion statues, which is hard to find in other temples.
