Medinet Habu

Medinet Habu is located on the west bank of Luxor, Egypt, and is a mortuary temple of Pharaoh Ramesses III from the New Kingdom period. It is grand in scale and well-preserved, and is considered one of the most important military and religious buildings of ancient Egypt. The temple is known for its tall walls, giant reliefs, and rich inscriptions, which detail the military achievements, religious ceremonies, and ruling accomplishments of Ramesses III.
