Charyn Canyon, Kazasthan 😍

The Charyn Canyon is a national park in Kazakhstan, primarily located along the Charyn River and encompassing the Charyn Canyon. The park covers approximately 125,050 hectares and is situated in the Enbekshikazakh, Raiymbek, and Uygur districts of Almaty Region, about 200 km east of Almaty. This place is most famous attraction in Kazasthan.

The location is included in our Ground Tour package. The tour begins in Almaty City, where the guide will pick up us for the journey (which takes almost 3 hours). Once at Charyn Canyon, you can explore the area on foot. Please remember to bring an umbrella, as it can get very hot during the spring and summer season. If you solo backpacker please do your own research about the transportation and accomodation if you are not booking the ground tour.
