Ski resort in almaty

Shymbulak (Shymbulak) is a famous ski resort on the outskirts of Almaty, located on the Trans-Ili Alatau (Ile Alatau) or Zailiyskiy Alatau (Zailiyskiy Alatau) mountain range. It's about 25 kilometers from Almaty's city center. It's a 40-minute drive from the city center, or you can hail a taxi for around $10 (330 baht).
