Amalfi Coast

#hellohalloween
The Amalfi Coast in southern Italy is one of the most famous and beautiful coastal regions in the world. It stretches about 50 km along the Tyrrhenian Sea, in the Campania region, south of Naples. The area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its dramatic cliffs, pastel-colored villages, lemon groves, and turquoise waters.

Highlights of the Amalfi Coast:
• Positano – A picture-perfect village with colorful houses stacked on the cliffs, luxury boutiques, and pebble beaches.
• Amalfi – Once a powerful maritime republic, it has a historic cathedral (Duomo di Amalfi) and charming piazzas.
• Ravello – Famous for its gardens (Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone) and breathtaking views. It also hosts the Ravello Music Festival.
• Sorrento – A gateway to the Amalfi Coast, known for its lemons, limoncello, and views of Mount Vesuvius.
• Praiano & Atrani – Smaller, quieter towns with authentic local charm.

Things to Do:
• Drive or ride along the Amalfi Drive (SS163) – one of the most scenic coastal roads in the world.
• Take a boat trip along the coast or to the island of Capri.
• Hike the Path of the Gods (Sentiero degli Dei) for stunning views of the coastline.
• Try local specialties: seafood pasta, Neapolitan pizza, and limoncello.

Best Time to Visit:
• Late spring (May–June) and early autumn (September–October) offer warm weather, fewer crowds, and clear views.
• July and August are peak season, with hot weather and heavy crowds.
