Tairyu-ji Temple, located in Anan City, Tokushima Prefecture, is the 21st temple of the 88 Sacred Temples of Shikoku. Located atop a mountain at an elevation of 600m, the temple exudes a majestic atmosphere, earning it the nickname "Western Koyasan." The standard access route is by ropeway, offering spectacular aerial views. 🚡🌲
As you ascend the mountain by ropeway, you'll gaze upon the expansive green ocean below. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by the tranquil grounds and the historic main hall. While worshiping, the only sounds you'll hear are those of nature, and I felt a profound calm. 🧘♀️✨
