Tingjian · Moganshan is hidden deep in Yangwan, Fotang Village, Moganshan Town, nestled between bamboo forests and creek springs, a secluded retreat embracing nature. It’s about a 1.5-3 hour drive from Shanghai/Hangzhou, or a 45-minute taxi ride from Deqing High-Speed Rail Station. It’s a 10-minute drive to the Moganshan Scenic Area transfer point, 30 minutes to Yucun Square, 30 minutes to the Discovery Extreme Exploration Base, 20 minutes to Tianquan Mountain, and 30 minutes to Shibadaowan Rafting.
The homestay consists of three modern buildings combining natural wood and white, staggered along the mountain creek terrain. Buildings 1 and 2 are connected by a sky bridge over the creek, with cantilevered terraces blending into the bamboo creek scenery. Building 3 stands independently against the mountain, rebellious yet Zen-inspired. The lobby’s floor-to-ceiling windows face the pool and bamboo sea, with a pure white backdrop, wooden bar, and green plants, perfectly blending Nordic minimalism with mountain wilderness spirit.
The restaurant is built on the basement level by the creek. The chef team comes from “Grandma’s Home,” with a frequently updated seasonal menu offering fresh farmhouse dishes daily, such as mountain bamboo shoots, free-range chicken, creek fish and shrimp, with many ingredients sourced from their own farm and local villagers. Must-try is the medicinal herbal chicken pot: slow-cooked farmhouse chicken, nourishing and warming! There are also exclusive children’s meals and KUB tableware, so babies can eat with peace of mind.
