Gotta rave about this sunken infinity pool! The emerald bamboo waves reflect directly on the water surface, and the light at 4 PM is absolutely magical ✨ My little friend played by the pool in her swimsuit while my girlfriends and I lounged in the rest area taking atmospheric shots—every snap looked like a vacation in Spain. The irregular stairs by the pool are also a great photo spot; wearing a light-colored dress and shooting silhouettes is super stylish.

🎨The secret to kids playing wildly while moms relax
The artist couple who run this place really get family travel! We took the kids to a pottery class, and Teacher Qiangzi was so patient. The 8-year-old made a cute crooked-neck pet cup, which can be fired and mailed home—such a sense of accomplishment. While the kids were focused on playing with clay, my girlfriends and I ordered coffee at the Shanmu Bistro and chatted while enjoying the mountain view outside the window. This is the right way to vacation!

🌌Stay in a room where you can watch the stars
The starry sky private hot spring room we booked was such a surprise! Soaking in the private hot spring at night while watching the Milky Way, the kids lay on the bed counting stars and exclaimed how magical it was. The room features earth-tone textured walls, a window opening to the bamboo sea, and bedding so comfortable you don’t want to get up. The mini bar drinks are all free.

🍲Foodie moms’ satisfaction
The homemade pickled vegetable pancakes and shredded pork noodles for breakfast were super fragrant; the kids ate two big bowls in one go. For dinner, we pre-ordered the bamboo forest chicken hot pot, which was incredibly fresh and delicious. Paired with the warm yellow lighting of Shanmu Bistro, the atmosphere was perfect.
