Summer fishing is restricted in Turkey, but fresh fish are lined up in front of fishmongers' stalls as autumn approaches. Many Turks say that eating anchovies, especially anchovies, signals the arrival of autumn. In Ankara, there are many fish restaurants attached to fishmongers. They're great for when you get tired of kebabs during your trip, and they're also satisfying with plenty of vegetable side dishes!
