An uncommercialized ancient village. In the deep mountains of Guizhou lies the stone fortress
This is Benzhai, a Tunbao completely built of stone
Here, the houses, walls, and paths are all made of stone
They are descendants of Ming dynasty soldiers
600 years ago, Zhu Yuanzhang led his troops into the southwest, and the soldiers built fortresses and enclosed settlements here, with their families relocating to this place. They were soldiers in times of war and farmers in peacetime; this is where they lived
📍Yunfeng Tunbao—Benzhai
To this day, this place still retains its appearance from that time, preserving many of the customs of the past, very primitive. Apart from a few small shops at the entrance of the village, there really is no commercialization inside the fortress
Surrounding the Tunbao are farmlands, where you can see the figures of locals working in the fields
There are a few farmhouses at the village entrance where you can eat
Here, there is the most primitive sense of life
People naturally have a sense of relaxation
You can see where ancient people lived
If you have time, you can stay for a while
To experience the most primitive sense of life and smoke
