Guiyang 1h direct! Step into the real-life Wizard of Oz

Dear friends, friends in Guiyang! I've discovered another beautiful forest with few people! Thousands of acres of forest sea, aerial tea gardens, cherry blossom secret spots, forest-style wooden houses... Posting on social media, everyone asks if I went to Northern Europe! Just a 1-hour drive from Guiyang, perfect for a weekend summer retreat to cool off and breathe fresh air👇

Destination: State-owned Dapo Forest Farm, Pingba District

🚗 Transportation tips:

✔ Self-drive navigation to "Dapo Forest Farm, Pingba District" (about 50 minutes from Guiyang city center)
✔ Take the high-speed train to Pingba South Station → 15-minute taxi ride (self-driving is recommended for convenience)

🚖 Parking: Free parking lot at the forest farm entrance, very convenient.

🎫 Tickets: Free! Free! Free! (Important things said three times)

🌟 Must-visit secret spots:

🌲【Forest Oxygen Bar Trail】

Step into a scene straight out of a Studio Ghibli anime! Tall dawn redwood trees form a natural archway, dappled light falls on the pine needle carpet. Recommended to wear a white long dress for running shots, it naturally adds a cinematic filter, with a very high chance of great photos!

🌸【Cherry Blossom Observation Deck】(March - April only)

A niche cherry blossom viewing spot with ten times fewer people than Pingba Cherry Blossom Park! Climb to the top observation deck to see a sea of pink clouds rolling, even more stunning from a drone perspective (flowering period is about a week later than Pingba Farm).

🍵【Aerial Ecological Tea Garden】

Layer upon layer of tea fields look like green fingerprints. The tea-picking aunties say there are also century-old ancient tea trees hidden here. Standing at the highest point of the tea mountain, the mist swirls like a fairyland, as if you are in a fairy tale world.

🛖【Fairy Tale Forest Wooden House】

Deep in the forest farm lies an abandoned Nordic-style wooden house, its roof covered with ivy and window frames entwined with wildflowers. The best light is around 4 PM, perfect for shooting with a green forest glow, creating a very atmospheric vibe.

📸 Photo Tips:

1. Light-colored outfits + straw bags/hats make photos stand out.
2. Bring a telephoto lens to compress space; use portrait mode on your phone for stunning shots.
3. Overcast days create a cool, calm atmosphere; on sunny days, shoot before 10 AM for the best light.

⚠ Notes:

The forest farm is undeveloped commercially, please bring your own snacks & drinking water.
Some paths are slippery; wear non-slip sports shoes for safety first.
Take mosquito and sun protection measures; temperature varies in the forest, remember to bring a jacket.
Leave no trace! Please take all your trash with you; protecting the environment is everyone's responsibility.

🌳 When the city heatwave starts to roll in, why not hide in a 23℃ forest, listen to the wind shaking the cicadas in the trees, and watch the light dance in your palm? This is the true healing moment of summer in Guizhou~
