The scenic area is dominated by the Shenxian Cave, which consists of three central areas: Doulonggou, Guigu, and Jishan. Shenxian Cave, nearly 5,000 meters long, is the largest cave in northern my country, with 2,100 meters currently developed.
The cave is filled with winding paths, overflowing springs, and uniquely shaped stalactites. Covering a total area of 15,000 square meters, it can be divided into seven halls. The highest point reaches over 20 meters, and the widest is about 17 or 18 meters. The largest hall can accommodate thousands of people. It is a truly magnificent underground palace created by nature and crafted by nature, which is very attractive.
The cave connects the 850-meter-high Shuangru Peak and the Doulonggou Gorge. This kilometer-long natural underground passage is a unique wonder of the Shenxian Cave Scenic Area. Legend has it that Shenxian Cave was the abode of the ancient immortal Guangchengzi, and that Emperor Huangdi once sought guidance for self-cultivation there.
