I will stay here again next time I visit Changbai Mountain... Blueview Hotel, a hidden gem

Finally unlocked the winter limited edition of Changbai Mountain! This time I stayed at the Changbai Mountain Blueview Resort Hotel, and from the window views to the service, it made this ski enthusiast’s heart race ❤️ Especially the floor-to-ceiling window facing the ski slope, waking up every day to the stunning scene of rime and morning light dancing together~

🏔️ Location: Perfect score
• The hotel is located within the Changbai Mountain North Slope Scenic Area, a 5-minute walk to the Tianchi Transfer Center, with skiing, hot springs, and rafting all easily accessible
• In winter, there is a dedicated shuttle bus to and from the ski resort (once every hour), making it easy to carry ski gear back and forth

💎 Immersive ski resort experience
1. Room features:
• 60% of rooms face the ski slope directly; I recommend choosing a high-floor mountain view room (I stayed on the 8th floor with unbeatable views)
• Floor heating + humidifier to save those from the south; minibar includes free Changbai Mountain specialty blueberry juice
2. Ski concierge:
• One-stop service for lift tickets, instructors, and equipment rental; VIP ski resort access saves you half an hour of queuing
• After night skiing, ginger tea service is available, and someone even helps dry the snow off your skis
3. Secret hot springs:
• The outdoor soaking pool is surrounded by primeval forest; soaking in the hot spring at -20°C with snowflakes falling on your shoulders is super romantic

📸 Top 3 photo spots
• Lobby crystal chandelier staircase (looks like an ice palace when sunlight streams through at 3 PM)
• From the ski lift, capturing the whole hotel (recommended to use a telephoto lens to compress the background)
• Breakfast setup in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows in the breakfast hall (birch wood tray + ginseng chicken soup gives a strong local vibe)

⚠️ Practical tips from experience
1. Transportation: About 4 hours driving from Changchun Longjia Airport (hotel offers free parking), car hire with driver costs about 800 RMB one way
2. Gear: Ski suits can be rented on site, but remember to bring waterproof gloves and a face mask
3. Hidden perk: The hot spring ticket given at check-in includes access to the sweat steaming room, perfect for a 10-minute steam after snow trekking to relieve fatigue

If I come again next year, I will definitely choose Blueview! Staying off-peak before the Spring Festival offers great value; the concierge quietly said 70% of December rooms are already booked... hurry up!
