Access is via direct bus (4 hours) from Changchun Longjia Airport or train (30 minutes by taxi from Baihua Station). Parking at Beipa is free, but be sure to check the seasonal bus schedule.

Must-see attractions include Tianchi (Heavenly Lake), Changbai Mountain Waterfalls, Jigokudani (Sulfur Falls), and the hot springs. June to September is particularly beautiful, with the flowers blooming and the clear waters of Tianchi creating a breathtaking view.

Caution: Be prepared for the high altitude climate (temperatures below -20°C), wear warm clothing, and apply strong UV protection. Many areas around Tianchi are designated ecological protection areas, so be sure to follow the designated route.

For culinary delights, try the Baekdu Mountain hot spring eggs, wild ginseng chicken porridge, and pine mushroom hotpot.

Beipa, a natural sanctuary of mystical lakes and waterfalls, offers a mystical landscape that changes with the seasons. For Korean travelers, it's considered the most accessible gateway to Baekdu Mountain.
