Fujian Anxi | Hidden Gem Yimping Mountain, Enjoying Tea in the Famous Tea Mountains is Pure Bliss

🚗 With a thousand-year history as a tea-producing county, Anxi's Yimping Mountain is the birthplace of Meizhan tea, one of its six renowned teas, boasting nearly 3,000 peaks over 1,000 meters high. At the award ceremony of the second Anxi Tea Masters Competition, after months of meticulous evaluation, the first batch of Famous Tea Mountains was officially announced. In November 2018, Yimping Mountain was designated as one of the inaugural Famous Tea Mountains.

🚗 Located in Sanyang Village, Lutian Town, and southwest of Wutu in Lantian Township, Anxi County, the mountain features graceful ridges and rounded peaks resembling a silver vase—hence its name. Along with Taihua Peak and Fo'er Mountain, it forms the "Roof of Anxi," standing at 1,411.4 meters. It emerges abruptly from the Fo'er Mountain range and drops steeply at Wutu Ridge. In November 2018, Yimping Mountain was honored as one of the first Famous Tea Mountains.
