[Aomori] Museum and site visit at Sannai-Maruyama ruins

I went to the Sannai-Maruyama ruins in Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture.
Aomori Prefecture is also said to be the historical origin of the Jomon culture. Here you can see a reconstruction of Maruyama, a large settlement at the time, as well as what it actually looked like. It was great to see the displays of pottery and stone tools that I've seen in Japanese history textbooks!
