Sannai-Maruyama Site, located in Aomori City, is an important historical site known as the remains of a large Jomon settlement.
It is one of the sites that make up the "Jomon Sites of Hokkaido and Northern Tohoku," and is a valuable spot for learning about the past.

This site is believed to have flourished between approximately 5,500 and 3,500 years ago, and numerous artifacts have been discovered that provide insight into the lifestyles and culture of the people of that time.
The site features the remains of large pit dwellings and post-hole buildings, allowing visitors to experience the architectural techniques of the Jomon period even today.

The museum also displays pottery, stone tools, and bone and horn tools, allowing visitors to learn about the lifestyles and crafts of the time.
Walking around the vast grounds, it was a fascinating experience, experiencing how the Jomon people coexisted with nature.
