Hakkoda Ropeway

Located in the southern part of Aomori City, Mount Hakkoda offers a breathtaking view. Hakkoda is one of Japan's 100 famous mountains and is part of the Towada-Hachimantai National Park, along with the Oirase Gorge. It consists of several volcanic mountain ranges, including Tamoyachiyama, Odake, Iodake, and Akakuradake. In autumn, over ten thousand trees turn red, completely dyeing the Hakkoda mountain range in a vast sea of red leaves, creating a spectacular and awe-inspiring sight.
