It is the second polytechnic founded in the UK.
In 1992, it was renamed the University of Greenwich.
Located in southeast London and north Kent, England

The area is accessible from central London by tube, bus and boat.
Nearby attractions include the Maritime Museum, Planetarium, Market and the world's first sailing ship.
