Hirosaki Park is a must-visit place in your lifetime

If I tell you,
The first thing I saw was a sea of cherry blossoms.
I was so moved that tears welled up in my eyes.
Do you think I'm exaggerating? 😆
Maybe you are not as emotional as I am.
But when you are in this pink world,
Standing on the bridge and looking at the sea of flowers on both sides,
Even the local Japanese were amazed by the scenery.
This is Hirosaki Park in Aomori Prefecture, Japan.
There are no direct flights from Hong Kong to Aomori.
I went to Tokyo and then transferred there.
To see this magnificent view,
To give you some historical background, Hirosaki Park is a large park located in the center of Hirosaki City. There are two thousand cherry trees planted in the park, and it is known as "Japan's No. 1 Cherry Blossom Festival".
Hirosaki Castle has a history of 400 years. It was a city in Japan at that time and is now listed as a national monument of Japan.
The remains of the city, including the towers, city gates, moat, stone walls, and earthen ramparts, are almost all preserved in their original state.
Many important cultural heritages are preserved here, which are very precious.
The castle tower was originally a five-story building, but it was destroyed by lightning and burned down. It was not until 200 years later during the Edo period that it was restored to its current three-story appearance.
I was very lucky that year to catch the cherry blossoms in full bloom, which was also the local cherry blossom festival. Many Japanese people would have picnics in the park to enjoy the cherry blossoms, or rent a boat and paddle on the river to appreciate the beauty of the cherry blossoms from another angle.
Those who plant trees will enjoy the shade. What trees can we plant today that future generations will admire?
