Kyushu Ceramic Culture Museum is a free but not casual attraction.
Arita Station is famous for its Arita ware, a technique passed down from ancient China that has gradually evolved into an art and culture with local characteristics.
Following the advice of the Tourist Information Center at Arita Station, I rode a bicycle I rented from the center all the way to the foot of the mountain. After parking in the parking lot of the convenience store opposite, I slowly walked up the mountain along the pedestrian bridge and finally arrived at the entrance.
Such a high-quality museum is free to visit. You can see the fine ceramic technology passed down from the Tang and Song dynasties, and appreciate the later evolution that incorporates Japan's ancient culture. Each exhibition hall is carefully designed.
You can also go to the cafe on the second floor to enjoy a cup of coffee while admiring the view of Arita Town. Recommended to visit.
