Turtle Back Rock, a glimpse of Arxan National Forest Park

We passed through the Arxan National Forest Park along the Mo'a Highway, but the Arxan scenic area was not included in the itinerary. After leaving Moon Lake, we entered Arshan. Autumn was in full swing, with trees on both sides of the road colorful and cows and sheep occasionally seen grazing on the roadside. The air in Greater Khingan Range was fresh and cool in autumn, with very few vehicles on the road. I opened the car windows and let it idle slowly, enjoying this beautiful time.
It was already noon when we arrived at Turtle Back Rock and we needed to have a bite to eat. We sat down at a roadside restaurant. As soon as we ordered two dishes, the proprietress said, "Two dishes are enough for three people. Give me some dumplings." It seems that the locals are as kind as they are said to be. While chatting during the meal, the proprietress asked if I had bought tickets. We said no. She said it was unnecessary, there were beautiful scenery everywhere in Daxinganling, you can walk around by yourself, but you need to register for fire prevention. Turtle Back Rock, as the name suggests, is a rock that looks like a turtle's back. It is probably formed when the magma flowing out of the volcanic eruption suddenly cooled by cold air or water. The cracks on the rock surface look a bit like a turtle's back. In addition to the Daxinganling-formerly unique small train and deer sculptures on the square, there are lakes, birch forests and hills around it. The blue lake water and golden leaves make you feel the autumn everywhere.
The next morning, thick fog shrouded the settlement and the surrounding scenery. As the sun rose, the fog gradually appeared, making people feel that everything was covered with a mysterious veil, arousing your desire to explore the truth. This encounter made me fall in love with the autumn in Daxinganling, the beauty is in my heart. Especially in the mountains and forests, there are no other tourists. You can only stay alone quietly, looking at the beautiful scenery around you and breathing the fresh air. This is the joy of traveling.
The Greater Khingan Range is a vast land, and what we can see is only a small piece of it. You can use your imagination to imagine its mysterious beauty and charm.
