Site Transitoire 📸- Tuscany road trip 🚗

Driving through the unique Crete senesi area, nearby the town of Asciano, there’s a perfect panoramic spot, ideal to relax, sip a glass of wine and wait for the sunset to be framed by Site Transitorie, a sculpture by the the French artist Jean-Paul Philippe. Site Transitoire means a place of passage, the stones installations are perfectly aligned to frame the sun during summer solstice, in symbiosis with the breathtaking panoramic view, the lake and golden hay hills.

Getting there:
🚗 from the town of Asciano, follow the directions to Castello di Leonina, the dirt road will lead you there.
