Spectacular flower garden near Tokyo

Ashikaga Flower Park is a famous flower park in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. The park is famous for its seasonal flower displays, especially the wisteria (fuji) that bloom in spring, and the beautiful winter illuminations. 



🌸 Highlights of the park
• 160-year-old wisteria tree: It is one of the oldest and largest trees in the park, with a shade area of ​​approximately 1,000 square meters. 
• Wisteria tunnel: The park has a tunnel of white and yellow wisteria flowers, approximately 80 meters long, which is a popular photo spot. 
• The Great Wisteria Festival: Held from April 12 to May 18, 2025, with illuminations in the evening from April 19 to May 18. 
• Winter Illumination: The park will be illuminated from mid-October to mid-February. Which is one of the largest illumination events in Japan

• Regular hours: Open every day from 10:00 to 17:00 (Last admission at 16:30)
• During festivals or special events: Opening and closing hours may change, such as during the Wisteria Festival Opening hours may start from 7:00 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m.
• Closing days: Closed on December 31st and the third Wednesday and Thursday of February



💴 Admission

Admission fees vary depending on the season and the state of the flowers:
• Spring (April – May):
• Adults: 1,000 – 2,300 yen 
• Children: 500 – 1,200 yen
• Other periods:
• Adults: 300 – 1,800 yen
• Children: 100 – 900 yen
