Be sure to visit Mount Aso in Kumamoto

Mount Aso is a spectacular place, a place I've been to twice, once last fall and once this summer.
It's easy to get in and out of Kumamoto, so it's not crowded, and there's not much to see in the city, so I highly recommend renting a car.
The climb up Mount Aso, which takes about an hour, is spectacular.
If you're lucky, you can enter the volcanic crater.
On days when toxic gases are released, you can't enter. This time, I was so excited to be able to get close to the crater. The end seemed endless.
It was a great place to escape the city and enjoy nature.

For those who have already been to Osaka, Tokyo, and Fukuoka, the top three travel destinations in Japan, I highly recommend Mount Aso in Kumamoto! #Kumamoto #kumamoto ##asomountain
