Kiunkaku, where great writers also stayed

Kiunkaku was originally built as a villa in Atami and later became an inn.
During its time as an inn, famous authors such as Dazai Osamu, Tanizaki Junichiro, and Shiga Naoya stayed here to write. There are explanatory notices posted, so you can imagine what it was like for these authors to write here.
There are a variety of Japanese and Western-style rooms, all of which have a retro feel.
The Western-style rooms in particular were luxurious and exotic, making them a great choice.
You can also enjoy the beautiful garden, which harmonizes with the building.
