Atami Plum Garden is said to be the earliest blooming plum garden in Japan

On the other hand, it is said to be the slowest to turn red.

There are 469 trees of 60 varieties, including old trees over 100 years old, and about 380 trees with red leaves.

There are plum blossom viewing, numerous events, art museums, etc., and you can take a leisurely stroll while feeling the arrival of spring.

There is a plum festival from early January to early March, fresh greenery from May to June, and a maple festival from mid-November to early December, so it seems like you can enjoy it throughout the seasons.

Beautiful plum blossoms welcome you at the entrance.

Pets are allowed, so there were many people with dogs 🐶.

As soon as you enter the entrance, you'll hear "Hohokekyo?"
An old lady was selling handmade Japanese bush warbler flutes.

There is a river running through the park, a small waterfall, the Sawada Masahiro Art Museum, a Korean garden, and the Nakayama Shinpei Memorial Museum, so there are plenty of things to see.
